- Christian Bock is embracing the chance to learn from the best in the business after arriving at Windy Hill on Monday following his selection in the rookie draft. Speaking exclusively to Bomber.tv, Bock revealed his early experiences of life as an AFL footballer including fitness testing, club life and his new living arrangements with fellow Essendon player Jay Nash.

- Sam Lonergan impressed fitness staff today as the team began pre-season testing at the State Netball and Hockey Centre. The full playing group attended the session – including Essendon's four new rookies; Bryce Carroll, Kade Klemke, Christian Bock and Tom German.
