Richmond entered the league in 1908 and has since won ten premierships. They are regarded as one of the four power clubs of Melbourne and have had many successful eras. They are currently not in a successful era, having not played finals since 2001, but the tides are slowly turning.
They play their home matches at the MCG and have a huge supporter base. With their hugely popular theme song and striking playing strip, Richmond will always be a popular club.
