West Coast Eagles
The West Coast Eagles entered the league in 1987 when the league was truly going global, the same year as Brisbane entered. They were the first Western Australian team to enter the competition and since entering have become one of the most wealthy and successful clubs in the league, winning 3 premierships.
Despite all their success, the Eagles won their first wooden spoon in 2010 and are currently going through their toughest period in their short history on the back of superstars Chris Judd and Ben Cousins leaving.
